Daytona Company Development

Development Environments Became Infrastructure for Agents

Daytona shifted from environments built for human developers to sandboxes created on demand for AI agents. It later introduced Daytona2 to provision isolated environments across virtual machines, bare metal and cloud infrastructure as agents create and discard them more frequently.

Daytona Competitive Landscape

What an Agent Can Do Inside the Sandbox

Daytona and E2B both give coding agents isolated places to execute tasks. Daytona’s sandbox scope includes Git, browsing and code execution, so buyers can compare them using complete repository workflows and the isolation requirements of long-running jobs.
