EKA Robotic Manipulation System
Give a robot force feedback and learned control for handling objects.
EKA Robotics builds hardware and software that help robots manipulate objects. Its system pairs a force-sensitive gripper with a model trained in physics simulations to use visual and force feedback.

Give a robot force feedback and learned control for handling objects.
Eka has made dexterous manipulation its first application for a model that uses both vision and force. Simulation lets the team vary objects and contact conditions during training. The company has demonstrated the resulting system on tasks such as inserting wires and screwing in a light bulb, and plans to test a wider range of tasks in customer deployments.
EKA and Figure both tackle physical tasks with learned control, but EKA’s product centers on force-sensitive manipulation. Figure develops a full humanoid, where grasping is one problem alongside locomotion and whole-body control.
