FLORA Founding Team

FLORA grew out of NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program, where the early team encountered a practical problem: generative tools could make a first draft quickly, but gave creators little control over the details. The team built a visual workspace for shaping and refining the result.

FLORA Company Development

An Agent Inside the Creative Canvas

FLORA began with a canvas where creative teams connected text, image and video generation steps. In 2026 it introduced FAUNA inside that editor, adding a way to work with an agent while keeping the generated assets and workflow on the same canvas.

FLORA Competitive Landscape

An Editable Process for Generating an Asset

Flora and Fal both appear in generative media workflows. Flora’s canvas lets creative teams connect and revise steps visually. Fal provides model inference that developers call inside their own tools, at the infrastructure layer beneath a creative workflow.
