Give a Townie context from connected work tools and coordinate tasks with other assistants.
Town began with an assistant that learns from a person’s inbox and calendar. Its emphasis on accumulated context made individual preferences and relationships part of the product, rather than requiring users to assemble a workflow before receiving help.
Town’s September redesign organized the experience around a main conversation, with longer projects handled in separate threads. Its October announcement extended that approach to assistants working together across a company. Each Townie retains a relationship with its person while coordinating shared work, making team adoption a distinct part of the company’s direction.
A Townie is a person’s assistant within Town, with context about their relationships, projects and writing preferences. It is not a separate company.
Each Townie works for an individual. Town also supports collaboration between Townies, teammates and external contacts.
